TRIP TO DUBAI: "The Las Vegas of the Middle East"

A land of excitement and wonder! A hot popular destination for Americans and tourists from all around the world. An adult playground in a part of the world you never imagined. Last year Dubai topped the world in the hotel occupancy stakes, with an average rate of 86%, according to a survey by research group Deloitte and Smith--ahead of hotel hotspots such as New York, Paris, Singapore and, of course, Las Vegas.

Oct 10 DEPART THE US

Friday Night: Depart the US on board your Emirates flight bound for Dubai.

Oct 11 ARRIVE DUBAI

Saturday Arrive and welcome to Dubai. After clearing government formalities, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Oct 12 DUBAI

Sunday Enjoy an exciting morning tour to witness first-hand, the painstakingly planned growth of the multi-cultural metropolis of Dubai. Our first stop is the prestigious Jumeirah area, home to the upscale Jumeirah Beach Residence as well as the world’s largest artificially created Marina.

Visit the Sales Office of ‘Nakheel’, developers of the fascinating Palm Islands. Take a close look at the scale models of this astounding project; unofficially named as the ‘Eighth wonder of the world’. Drive next to souk Madinat Jumeirah, an Arabian-themed marketplace where the history and heritage of the region comes alive. Continue to Emirates Hills, boasting opulent villas, lakes and The Montgomerie – a world-class golf course.

Before returning, make a last photo stop at Ski Dubai and see the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, offering an amazing snow setting for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing or just playing in the snow all year round. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Oct 13 DUBAI

Monday Morning is at leisure. This afternoon, depart across the desert with photo-stops during an exciting dune drive and visits the camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. Watch the beautiful sunset in the desert.

Reach our campsite, where you have the opportunity to do camel riding, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hands or feet. After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and a shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe).

Before returning, watch our belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight. (B.D)

Note: This tour is operated by a 4WD (5 passengers to a vehicle) with an English speaking driver cum guide. An English speaking guide will also join the group and will ride in one of the 4WD.

Oct 14 DUBAI

Tuesday Morning is at leisure. Later you will depart for a 45 – 60 mins. drive to the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa. (B)

Oct 15 DUBAI

Wednesday Full day is at leisure. Optional Excurisons will be offered. (B)

Oct 16 DEPART DUBAI

Thursday Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the US on board Emirates Airlines. (B)
